Engineer Constancio M. Verula Jr., a Mechanical Engineering faculty and Associate Technology Licensing Officer (ATLO) of CMU-IPTBM, generated two technologies: the Secondary Refrigerant and Water Cellophane Holder for Ice Making. His business name was registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which is one of the preliminary steps in the commercialization process. The spin-off company is named RJV Aircon and Refrigeration System Trading. The Board of Regents confirmed the Technology Licensing Agreement for this commercialization endeavor in its BOR Resolution No. 172, s. 2021. CMU-IPTBM will then file a request to DOST-X for the issuance of a Fairness Opinion Report for this technology transfer.
