Mr. Andres P. Mirar is a farmer producing organically grown rice. He employs good agricultural practices (GAP) on his rice farm and produces organic fertilizer concoctions and soil enhancers. The LGU of Maramag recognizes him as a farmer practicing organically grown rice. His rice farm has been the site for harvest festivals for several years. Meanwhile, he also produces organic fertilizers and soil enhancers (FFJ, FPJ, OHN, CalPhos, and IMO). His market is concentrated around Maramag, Bukidnon and Wao, Lanao del Sur. He is continually inspiring farmers to engage in the chemical-free production of crops.
